Here is a 10" diameter, 3 1/2" high Ambrosia Maple Bowl I recently turned. It has many coats of WOP.

Very nice Bill. Is that the true color...very deep amber, or a result of oil before WOP? Or just result of the WOP. Can't recall WOP adding that much amber to maple.

It's just WOP... The lighting brighten it up a bit.

It is a sweet looking bowl. But sorry Dr Keller... it's not near big enough for popcorn. At least not for more than one serving...

Very sweet looking bowl and DD, I must take exception with you. It is definitely popcorn ready. You must remember that one should exercise a bit (minimum of 30 foot walk) between bowls of the corn.
By the way, I love both the exquisite form and the ambrosia.

That's one fine looking bowl. Those little beetles did a good job spacing their holes, gave you good coverage across the bottom. Really gorgeous.

Beautiful job and love that glossy finish. All this talk about popcorn and ice cream is making me hungry. They say popcorn layered on ice cream is suppose to be quite good.
