Here's a twisted pedestal box made from walnut & ash burl, it's 11in tall & the top is 9in. wide. This is my 4th carved pedestal and my first triple twisted pedestal. I don't do these very often, the pedestal takes a coulple of days to do, probably once I become more familar with carving it will go faster. It's finished with 4 coats of DO.

Very interesting design. I like this form. My only suggestion would be to exchange the black finial for a natural walnut one to match the pedestal. Very cool. Thanks for posting the pics..... now I have an idea for a future project!!!!

Thanks for your comments, yeah Scott, I think you're right, it would look better with a walnut finial, I almost went that way and then changed my mind. That's what I like about the Creekers, you are always learning something.
