Three elm utility bowls for the moms and two small ash bowls for the grandmas.
Finished with beeswax and walnut oil.
The small ash bowl on the right looked great as it came off the lathe but showed a small line of bruised grain when I oiled it.
The large elm bowl on the right shows a ring (looks like torn grain) on the bottom in the picture that isn't there in real life.
The small bowls are still a bit shiny from the walnut oil.
Not totally satisfied with the big bowls, as I think the walls could have been a hair thinner (hindsight and self doubt).
Comments and critiques welcome.
