There's a used (1995) Grizzly G1019 on my local craigslist and I was thinking about going to take a look at it tomorrow.

Anyone have experience with this model/year and can tell me anything about it's pros and/or cons?

Does this seem like a good used price?

Looks like a good price for a generic 14". And a 6" riser it looks too.

David,

Looks like the saw I sold for $200. Mine did not have the riser block but with only the 3/4 HP motor it would be way under powered anyway. I sold the saw because I didn't like it. I moved up to the 17" Grizzly. Big difference!

My $00.02 , Bret

$150?

That's a STEAL!

Unless the blades provided are new, go buy a fresh set of "teeth".

I'd try to make sure nothing is bent or cracked. Make sure the wheels run true, no wobbles. I had a different model Griz same age and the blade guides were pot metal and sorta fragile. Like Bret says 3/4 h.p. is pretty light for resawing. I swapped my motor for a 1.5 h.p. Huge difference. Put the 3/4 back on when I sold it.

Thanks for all the input guys. The seller hasn't return any of my emails or calls so I think I'm going to pass on the saw and keep saving up for a new one. Anyways, thanks again. -Dave
