Just so you know my son Josh and I got'em done. Hopefully they'll be full of flowers in the morning by other men in the church. 7" tall vary in width from 2 1/2 - 2 3/4. 1"x6" glass tube. Sapele Mahogany. 30 shown, 35 made.

gotta ask though, how'd you bore the hole for the tube? I just finished a bud vase using a 1x6 glass tube and had a tough time boring the hole with my forstner bit ....

not sure about what Jon is using .. but i found some 1" dia test tubes on ebay for less than $1 ea ....

Lee: I used Colt's Maxi-Cut Forstner bit with extension. Cut like butter.

Greg: The tube is glass, bought 35 for at .82 a piece through CSUSA.
