finished this up made from jarrah with madrone burl panels oil finish topped with wax and poly on the madrone

Beautiful bed! The two woods work well with each other and you paid a lot of attention to detail. Nicely done!

Very nice!! Can't figure out what's going on in picture 4. Are these spacers or reinforcement on the rails?

used these to add something to the rail instead of just a straight board

Great job, choice of wood and design are top notch. I like every aspect of it. Did you veneer the panel before raising it? If so did you get any tearout on the veneer?

i did veneer it before i raised it i made sure i glued it down good and i took real small cuts the last few passes
