John, Now that is a great collection of bowls. I like the beading very much. No way I could pick out a favorite.

First class work, John! Beautifully done, and well executed........I guess this would be your signature in wood turning....anyway, the ones I am the most familiar with.........your skills and artistry really shine brightly in these pieces!

I always enjoy seeing your stuff, John. I've spent lots of time on your website, just lookin'. Your wave bowls are just too cool. It's a style that I'd feel like a criminal if I ever tried to copy it.

Nice work!! :)

I was looking at these on WoW and could not figure out which one to reply to! I'm glad you posted them together here. They are all really nice but I like the one with the black recessed "groove" the best...

Very nice variety of your bowls John! Beautiful work on each of them! For some reason the Maple & Dye version really stands out to me! Maybe it is because the basic form of the bowl has not been interrupted - with the exception of the black negative space curve! Love the effect!

Very special turnings. Someday you must reveal the secret of their construction. Exceptional work.

I have seen your work here and on IAP I believe and each time I see it I just stare at it trying to figure out how in the world you do that! This is just outstanding workmanship, if you want to keep this a secret I fully understand, but if not would you be willing to do a tutorial for us? As I said, if you want to keep this process to yourself though I fully understand...

John, this is a wonderful collection of pieces, and very representative of your signature style - very unique. Great stuff!!

...if you want to keep this a secret I fully understand, but if not would you be willing to do a tutorial for us? As I said, if you want to keep this process to yourself though I fully understand...Tim, in looking at his website, John is available for club demos, and has several scheduled in the California area. It would be sweet to be available for one!! Or, to get him out here in God's country (Kentucky!!!)

Hi John
Great work.! I love the creativity especially when someone uses it to transform an object like a bowl into a work of art. I really enjoyed your development of the wave theme in your turnings on your site. Wishing you continued success in your climb to the top.

Randy
