Laser Mask Issues

I have been using laser mask from Photobrasive, and I seem to be having some issues with it. I run it through the laser to cut the stencil to be sandblasted and there is still a greenish residue left over and some of the areas are stringy. I wouldn't worry about this, but when I sandblast the residue is causing me to have an uneven blast.

I tried adjusting my settings and dpi, but the outcome is still the same. I tried 600 dpi 80power 100speed and everywhere in between including 1200dpi. This is on a helix 40watt that is only a few weeks old too.

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!!

I experimented some time ago with a sample piece of that mask but am not a regular user. Someone here might have some suggestions but I really think you should get in touch with IKONICS. They have people to help and have a vested interest in getting it to work for you.
