This is the simplest way to sharpen with accuracy over & over. I just picked one up but my sharpener is in for warranty. Anyone else use one of these?

Ooooooohhh!!! The nasty vortex has appeared again out of thin air. Now if I just had the bucks to buy the Tormek with all the do-dads. It looks like a pretty sweet set up and have always wondered how many turners use a Tormek. I have used a friends Tormek (not a turner) on chisels. I can tell you all about staining maple red as I was chiseling out hinge pockets. Never knew I had cut myself, felt nothing. My only question would be how long the edge lasts if you are dealing with very hard areas like knots? Watch out Bill, you are officially inside the vortex and spinning around. It is a long way to the bottom!!!!

Trust me my friend, I fell deep and far into the vortex a loooong time ago. 30 bucks for this jig was small change in compairison to my other purchases. BTW this jig a ma thing can be used on a regular grinder too with a few other accessories.

The Tormek jigs all work on the Jet Slow speed wet grinder also.
