Can I salvage some old Boiled Linseed Oil that thas solidified in the can?

Or do I just throw this away and get a new can?

Buy new--don't even think about it. BLO is inexpensive. There is no reason to take a change on old finish. The finish is what gets the oohs and aahs for a project.

Actually, what has happened is that the BLO has polymerized--or done what it normally does in the wood--which means that it has actually changed to a different compound because of its mixing with oxygen. No solvent will change it back to linseed oil.
