Cool!! It's one of those optical illusion things where your focus is either on the piercing design or the solid mass in the middle!! I like it!!

Thats a neat looking plate.I bet it took some time to make.

I just used spray on shellac,2 coats.4-0 steel wool between coats,then waxed.The plate took ,one Saturday and two evenings.I used a single wheel contact bowl easy to support the thin plate as I was getting down to critical thickness. This was done for an art auction fund raiser.Brought a great price for the cause. Norbert

I'am sorry forgot to mention the piercing was done with a flexible shaft highspeed Fordom tool.Norbert
