Just get some 12x12 Granite tiles at Lowes and a wet tile saw and cut your own

Allen,

If Kathy is looking for replacement tiles for what is typically sold as laserable black, HD/Lowes tiles won't cut it (at least none that I've seen)... they're too grainy.

Hi Kathy.
You can try http://www.lasersketch.com/catalog/index-1.htm as they have a pretty good selection of laser black granite and marble.

I'd look for a local shop and see if they can buff it out for you if it isn't too deep.

The half-inch thickness may be hard to find. Go with Martin's advice... look for a granite countertop fabricator in your area; they should be able to buff and repolish.

I have found some quality granite that still has the specks, but much better (smoother engraving) than the big box stores. It's available at tile/stone stores; they'll probably have to order it for you.
It engraves differently from the various suppliers, so ask for samples. Many times they have to order a box minimum.
