I would like to buy a second router to be mainly mounted in a table (with PRL lift).
I'm thinking of getting Milwaukee 5625-20 but I cannot tell from the descriptions online
if it has only the 1/2" collet or does it come with both 1/2" and 1/4" collet?
The price of the 1/4" is about $23 which I think is ridiculously high!!

Can anybody please confirm what collet sizes it comes with?

thanks

Mine came with a 1/2" collet only.

Same with mine.

BTW, I THINK it's fairly clear on Milwaukee's actual page (http://www.milwaukeetool.com/tools/routers-and-sanders/routers/3-1-2-max-hp-fixed-base-production-router-with-electronic-variable-speed-feedback-circuitry-and-soft-start/5625-20) FOR the 5625-20....

Still ... a BEAST of a router. Love it. Love it. LOVE it !

Nope - 1/2" only. But a 1/4" collet is available - I got mine through a local dealer.

They used to come with both but not anymore. I bought mine long enough ago that I got the 1/2" and 1/4" collet with mine. It is a great router.

I liked the 5625 so much that I bought Milwaukee's small 5615 plunge router . . . lo and behold, the inexpensive plunge router (on sale for like $99 at the time) came with a 1/4 collet. Hey! Problem solved! :D
