I am in the process of getting a 25 year old, USA made Unisaw with all the necessary bells and whistles.

My plan is to have it more or less permanently set up in my garage; moving it from time to time will likely be a necessity.

Question; I am seeking suggestions what is a decent mobile base / kit to use.

Thanks in advance -

Dave, If you've got a really smooth even floor, the Delta MB w/extension will work well. We had a 5 HP with extension's on both sides and an outfeed table and it was quite easy to move around, and very stable. However if your floor is not glass smooth or level, stay away from it...the wheels will not take the abuse of rough(even broom finish) concrete, and the whole thing will rock like a foundering trawler. I've seen a lot of threads here, though none come to mind, about HD casters and shop built frames. Best I can do for you tonight.
