One of my son's is a senior at Thomas Jefferson School for Science & Technology here in Fairfax VA. It's a magnet school that takes the high achievers from all of northern VA and man, do they have some cool classes! Anyway, here's a couple of pics of his latest project using the school's laser for the intricate cuts. I had made several of these a few years back (from Woodsmith) for gifts. Of course, I used "old" technology (the scrollsaw).
