This web site - jp29.org/wwtools.htm - is essentially a re-write and re-formulation of one I previously wrote titled "WOODWORKING HAND TOOLS - used in the truck cab/body building trade, N. England, late 1940s". I never did like it. I did a lot of reflecting during spells of early morning insomnia - one of the curses of growing old - and realized that I had forgotten many things that I wanted to include plus I had gotten some things in the wrong sequence - or plain just remembered them incorrectly. I also found it awkward to write - and read. I hope this web site will be much better.
