Grizzly Tool service in Canada

Am looking at getting a couple of new tools, 20" planer and 12" jointer, like the look of the Grizzly G0609 and G0454Z units but was wondering if any fellow Canuks have experience regarding service here in Canada. Thanks for any comments.

As Tim indicated in his post, the Canadian forum would provide better answers to your question.

It is my understanding that Grizzly do not provide service, either in the USA or Canada, rather they provide replacement parts or machines to the purchasers who have problems.

I've owned machines from 2 companies who provide at home service, General and Felder, there may well be others, or your local dealer may provide service for other brands..............Regards, Rod.

Since Ontario was hit the hardest in Canada by the recession I would think you would want to keep your money local rather than save a few dollars.
