Hello everybody,
after I posted my problems Epilog decided my lasertube was defective and needed replacement, I did it this morning and now I'm running a number of works to be sure that this one works fine.
Great guys at Epilog and great customer assistance, just how I was told, I got my machine back to work in a week time (and I live in Italy!)
running some random jobs, I came out with the idea of laser engraving soap for Body Shop and other Soap resellers, anybody got any experience?
I've done some tests and with my 30W laser, I got a carving-like result with high power and low speed, or running a vector job (but I don't know how to fill black areas with vector jobs)... otherwise I get a surface reaction that fades away the very first time you use the soap...
Any help appreciated!
