I have an older Wilton vise that I picked up years ago and just dug out of storage.
It has 10" wide jaws and a max opening of 12" and has a quick release on the screw.
It has the W-9-64 on the inside top.
Any info on it would be welcome.
Thanks

Looks like a quick-release Wilton woodworking vise to me :) It's probably used to hold wood.

What Salvatore B said......most likely used to hold wood. Generally affixed to a workbench.

I have a newer version of the same vice and I can assure you that it is used to hold wood, as was already mentioned. :D

I'm not sure what more you want to know. It appears to be a Wilton model 694 woodworking vise. I looked on the Wilton website - they don't make them anymore but have some similar. What specifically were you trying to find out? There's one for sale on a NY Craigslist for $75. Doesn't mean that's what it's worth, just what he asking for it.

After looking on the Wilton website I would guess the model number is W694 but i couldn't find anything about it. Just guessing based on current model numbers.

Reviving this old thread because I'm looking at getting a similar vise.

Where is the Wilton website? I couldn't find it :(
