Here is a few I've been working on. One is a Spalted Ambrosia Maple bowl 9"x3' and the other one is a Oak Burl which I thought was going to be an ugly bowl but turned out to be a beautiful bowl.

Cool stuff, Donny. That oak burl bowl looks like a great piece for an entryway or kitchen as a place to drop your keys and such. Cool.

Really nice bowls Donny. I like the rustic look of the oak but the ambrosia is really nice.

Nice work on both of these Donny! The spalted Maple looks great! The Oak burl is something else! Very rustic feel to it!

I like the spalted maple bowl, but that oak burl is great!! Fantastic color and swirl to the grain - and, gotta love the earthy character!

Those are both very nice bowls, Donny. The spalted maple has some really nice lines and the oak burl has got some real character. Nice job!

Looks like that new lathe has been getting a workout. Nice job on both, the oak is really interesting.

Lot of character in both bowls. Man, that Oak has some KARAZEE grain.

Nice job Donny. The maple is nice but the oak is out of the ordinary. I am going to have to see if I can find one of my cherry burls to do sopmething similar with. That is a great way to capture a little of the burls character!
