First Mini Wood Gloat and some waste!

Here is my first wood gloat - the two big logs I got from Dick Wilson the other day:D, the other is what I think I was able to salvage from a box elder tree that fell in my back yard.:confused: The stack of waste is box elder that I didn't know I had to treat (anchor seal) and it set there all winter and is pretty much, cracked and punky. :o Too bad - lesson learned! Pictures are with my phone - not either a wood turner or a photographer yet - but probably making more progress on the wood than I am the camera!

Dick and I decided it was box elder. I was planning on turning some this weekend but other projects jumped up the priority list. Out of town next week for easter then maybe I can turn it!
