Do you have one? Here are my two sweeties, Ella & Kodi. Kodi, the brown lab wants to be in the shop all the time. Ella, our meth lab, can take it or leave it.

Awww... Did you call your poor doggie a meth lab?!?

Poor puppy. :D

Meet "Bo" - my ever present shop companion who waits patiently until I throw him a ball or frisbee:

Come on Jim, just throw the ball for the poor pooch. He's waiting so patiently. :)

So, here are mine:

Belle doesn't go in the shop much, since it is in basement, but Taz loves to bother the heck out of me, when I'm down there. I guess that makes him a shop cat. :)

My 'shop dog' is the little black and white thing on my avatar. I'm pretty sure that he's a growth of some sort, as I can't seem to shake him. He was a rescue about 12 years ago. He will play fetch with the chunks that fly off of the lathe, but other than that he's useless...and I'd stomp anyone that tried to hurt him:eek:

My child goes to work with me every day, and takes it very personal if I go anywhere without her. She is now 11 years old, and can't play as she used to. I bought her that ball because it is too big for her to puncture, and she used to dribble it all over the place. I had to take the ball away to stop her tiring herself too much.

All great animals above. And great companions as well.

So here is mine. She is almost 5 now and I have had her since the day she was born.
191926She'll hang out in the shop from time to time, but prefers to be out on the farm with me instead.

My Sheltie is also my avatar. He doesn't much care for the shop machine noises, but will visit if I'm cleaning or assembling a project.

Just got a new puppy last week, as a matter of fact. She's a goofy looking Labradoodle (standard size white Poodle mom, Labrador Retriever dad). So far she's been a ton of fun, but she keeps us busy with her and only her for now.

LOL :D :D :D

Can't fool me - that critter is obviously too "hip" to be something that would drool, heel, or lead. I'm impressed that he lets you use his shop!!

192003Shop mascat . . . helping a customer select a countertop color.

192002Yes, that is a ball in his mouth.

Several years ago he was named Critter Magazine's (a local publication) Working Pet of the Month. :D

Here's my shop helper, Tippy. She was abandoned during Hurricane Ike and we adopted her several months later. Mixed breed, very loving, and the machines don't bother her. She stores a couple of bones in the shop and if I accidentally kick one she has to gather all the precious bones, do a quick inventory and redistribute.

P.S. The knot hole in the fence just past her nose in the photo is how whe monitors what is going on beyond the fence. :)
