Woke up to the sound of chainsaws and chippers this morning. I knew my neighbor was having some trees taken down. Couple of big pines and a little River Birch. I have been eyeballing the river birch, had a nice crotch down low that was a good size.
By the time I brushed my teeth, put my pants on and ran out the door the little birch was already in the chipper! Dog gone these tree guys were fast! :eek: Didn't want any of the pine, although it may have made some interesting Norfolk looing pieces, these were big pines of some sort.
Oh well.
