Anybody know if soaking a rough-turned piece of wood in DNA that has a hairline crack, that was filled with thin CA, would pose any problems? I know that Acetone is a solvent for CA, but did not know if the DNA would be problematic.
Thanks,
Michael

CA will work, but epoxy will dissolve.

I have done it numerous times and it works just fine. Have had the CA discolor a little on the outside of the form but no matter - that part gets turned off anyway!
