What does everyone use for a riving knife or splitter? My x5 uni didn't come with the guard so I need to get something.

Does anyone have a picture of what the original guard looks like for my x5?

This is what I used when I had my UNI.

That is about what I am looking for but I just want the knife part, not the paws or quick release part. Is something like that available.

I use an aftermarket device called B O R K Bolt-On Ripping Knife on my Unisaw and it works great. Yes, it moves up & down with the saw blade, just like a factory version. It has a knife, no pawls. It is removable also. It bolts right on to the Unisaw. Do a Google search on (Bolt-On Ripping Knife) to find it.

I am not a Unisaw owner, but I would wholeheartedly recommend that you look into a Shark Guard and knife / splitter.

Scroll down the list to see your model and enjoy!

I have one on my Ryobi BT310, visibility is fantastic, and the dust collection just rocks.

I've been looking at the videos for this. Does anyone else use one?
