Angle setting Gauge

Guys,

I need a gauge for setting the approprate angle on my tablesaw.

Have any of you used this one? Is there another that any of you use that you could recommend?

If you already have a miter gauge like Incra or such, cut a scrap piece of wood to whatever angle you need and set the blade with that. If you save them then you will have whatever you need.

That's an excellent idea!! I could use my Incra 1000 to do this which I trust very much. I feel like an idiot for not thinking of it myself. :confused:

Sometimes your (I'M) just a little too close to the problem to be of any use!

Jim, I have been doing what Steve suggested for years and it works well, I use 1/8 plexiglass. I just bought an inexpensive inclinometer http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.aspx?c=2&p=32584&cat=1,43513
supposed to be accurate to 12 minutes, 1/5 ° , the markings are small so I need extra light.

I like the scrap wood idea, but I just use a couple of 45dg & 30/60dg plastic drafting triangles.. dead on accurate & you can get them at any office supply place for a couple bucks... works like a charm ... I don't have much call for other angles personally but if you do, they make adjustrable ones for a 15$ or so.
