Creates where shipped to the place i work at (in NY) from India.
Size of creates are roughly 5' long 2' deep and a foot and a half high, they also receive small box around 2' square of the same type of wood. If it matters, the creates housed electronics controls.

"Raw" create (filled with scraps of other creates which i broke up)
191078

Bottom runners (which a forklift would slide under, ran the left one through planer)
191077

Practice segmented turning project (so you can see wood finished, only sanded).
191083
Practice segmented turning project (only sanded and paste waxed).
191084

Did some searching on line, but really did not find too many answers - only wood type which seamed to be common was Teak (maybe thats what the left "runner" is ?).

Can someone lead me in a direction ?
Thanks for any help.

Bringing it back around with the hope some fresh eyes can help out.

Joe - perhaps if you changed the title to something like "Shipping crates from India; wood ID needed" it would elicit more replies.

Terminalia arjuna perhaps. It is a common wood used in construction.
