Looks great, William! I'm jealous it took you only that long. I'm sure it will serve you for a long time.

Nice ! Way too purdy to actually use. I'd put it in the living room and call it a sofa table !

Beautiful job.

Don't you just HATE it when 8/4 cherry gets in the way ? ;)

Excellent bench. If you have any other issues with 8/4 cherry, let me know and I'll pick it up and get it out of you way. No charge!

I wish I could figure a way to weigh it.
Maybe ask my wife to stand on the scale and then hand her the bench and see the difference.
No that wont work, my wife would never tell me what she weighs.

Get a bathroom scale with about a 300 pound capacity. Lift one end of the bench and place the legs on a 2 x 4 cross board over the scale, let the bench down onto the board and take a reading. Repeat this on the other end, add the two weights together, it should get you within a few pounds.

This bench is too pretty to use.

Two bucks says you've got a B&D Workmate that gets all the drill holes and paint...

Very nice bench. Now get it out of the shop and into the dining room where it will look right at home.

pretty convenient that the width JUST HAPPENS to be able to fit 3 Systainers side x side x side!

Nice job.
