Deft lacquer over Minwax antique Oil

I'm finishing some turnings and have applied two coats of antique oil finish and want to top coat with deft. How long should I let the oil cure before top coating or do I even need to wait?

I would give at least 2-3 days. Remember the solvents in lacquer are pretty strong and there is a serious chance that the lacquer could cause problems with the Antique Oil, at least if there is finish that was not wiped off the surface. I'd do a test on similar wood before doing this on my project.

Thanks Steve. I was thinking of waiting about a week to let the oil cure before applying the Deft.
