Create Corel Palette

Hi Gang;
Corel (x4) will allow you to create a color palette from a document or selection. Does this only work for filled vector objects/docs or can it create a palette from a bitmap or jpeg? Example- see pic below. How can I create a palette of the colors in this picture?

I recently found the document palette too. I doubt it will work with a bitmap since it's seen as one entity. I think you would have to trace it to separate the colors. Hopefully someone can provide more help. Good luck.

Bring the bitmap into CorelDraw, then >window>color palettes>create palette from document.
