Hello Everyone,
Thanks for the warm welcome and compliments. Here is another Siragas inspired turning, this is a double twisted pedestal goblet box. Made from red elms and walnut with an ebony finial. It is 14" x 6". I got smart after the 1st one and bought a 41/2 grinder with a lancelot chain wheel for carving, it saved a bunch of time and made it much, much easier. I wanted to make the inner pedestal with more of a curve, but had carved too much wood away, it's a little hard to visualize while you're carving, have to take your time, I got too aggressive.
Thanks for looking
Jery
