Nice Shot!!! I got a lightning shot about a year ago. Took me 147 tries....Thank god for digital cameras :)

Last night was all but perfect. No rain, no wind and really a clear sky, very little thunder! I chased this storm for over 3 hours and had no problems getting multiple strikes on 30 second exposures. I only had the hair stand up on my head once LOL!

Here are a few more shots, I will get a tree getting struck one of these days! Click on the thumbnail, then again on the larger image and it will open large enough to see much more detail. The full rez stuff is pretty crazy

Excellent work on your site pics, Ken. A 30 second exposure would sure help me. If I just wasn't so lazy, I'd get the tripod out and try it!! :)
