Another wood gloat

I have a friend who in the past provided me with some walnut planks from his family farm for a flat work project. A while back I found a scrap left over from that project and turned a small bowl that I gave to him. Yesterday he shows up with three walnut logs suggesting that perhaps I could find a use for the wood. The smallest is 9 inches in diameter and the largest will need to be cut to fit on my Delta 46-460.
