189943Made some shavings yesterday and decided that I needed more light!
I put 4 four foot flourescent light above my lathe. Right now they have just regular tubes, I plan on putting the new daylight tubes in.
The lathe tool/gizmo storage rolling stand is unfinished at this point.
I will post turnings later.:)

WOW! Looks great but you will need sunglasses just to turn!
Nice size shop!

Brian---I like using one day light and one warm white tube in each fixture, gives a nicer overall feel to the light. Daylights are very blue. I use the higher output bulbs. You sure have a lot of room there!

Dan- I will have to try using only one daylight tube in each fixture. Thanks for the idea.

Wow...that's a lot of light!! I only use an articulating spot light mostly.
.....Hmmmm....Maybe that's why I can't turn finials. :)

Looking good Brian. No such thing as too much light. Becomes more true for me every year!

Looks good... Who'd have thunk that I would ever have light envy?
I've got to put some more lights in my shop... I feel more like Helen Keller than David Keller at times.
