Where to find #3 steel screws

Does anyone know where I can buy 1/2" #3 steel screws? I've been looking for a while now with no luck (and even asked Lee Valley and McFeely's for a recommendation on who may carry them with no success).

The #3 screws (in brass) are what are used for the Brusso box hinges I'm using and I simply want to pre-drive with the steel equivalents to reduce the stripping of the brass heads (I'm highly skilled at stripping... even without someone throwing singles at me).

If all you're doing is using them to pre-drive, then you should be able to use any length #3. If you're worried about overdriving them, then use a spacer on the screw so you can only drive it the 1/2" or so.

Bolt Depot. Looks like n/a in phillips head steel, but are available in slotted.
