I looking to find some semi decorative butt hinges for a cabinet and would like to see them before buying (already bought some over the internet, but will be returning because the finish looks different than the picture)

Does anyone know of a source in Minneapolis that has a good selection. I have some flexibility, but if I could design it myself it would be:
2-1/2" high plus balls
ball top
solid brass
Antique pewter finish

Thanks

I doubt it Woodcraft or Rockler are going to have that one Peter.

Maybe the Brass Handle (http://brass-handle.com/index.php?customernumber=46976861636417&pr=Home_Page) at the Edina Galleria but if they have them they'll be way spendy. I presume you've tried Lee Valley, Van Dykes and House of Antique Hardware. Ordering stuff like this sight unseen can be frustrating, but quality specialty hardware just isn't carried locally these days.

Sounds like something Whitechapel might carry.
But they're not in Mpls.

Everything Kevin said. I buy all my hardware semi-locally, but I order all of it, and its delivered.
