Scam????

While checking the tool section of Craigslist I saw a Jet 22-44 ODS Drum Sander for $850. I emailed and asked the condition of the sander and was it my local area. After 5 or 6 days I got an answer from www.liquidators-center.com (http://www.liquidators-center.com/) It looked like a computer generated answer that said it was still available. I went to the site and they show and list the sander as new, they also have a jet 16-42 2hp for $750. I think I have heard about sites like this and most of the stuff they sell is damaged and really not repairable. Anyone have any experience with this site??? Looking through the site it really looks like a scam...

Assuming you get the item at all... most places that offer such "deep discounts" just steal your card info/money and run.

The test: Tell them that you want to come by their store and pay in cash. Looking at their website it appears that they offer local pickup (most scam operations don't mention this). Since you don't list your location I don't know where you are but it appears that they ship out of Sacramento, CA.
