First attempts at casting acrylic pens and key rings, blew through a few of the blanks before I finally figured out how to judge the depth of the objects below. Now I'm addicted to this :p

Great castings Scott! Have you tried Resin saver molds yet? If your addiction isn't cured, look in to 'em. Looks like you have a great future in casting!

The pen and key ring look great!! What kit did you use and where did you get it?

I used a key ring kit from Penn State Industries. Molds came from Pen Wizard, only 1 oz of resin per cast!

Looks like you got drunk in the process!:D I'll bet most things are fun when you have to polish off half a case of beer in the name of getting it done.:D

Seriously, nice work!

Some nice looking castings. I have some casting material and want to do something with it but haven't taken the time to try yet. Going to have to get off my duff and try it out.

Looks like you are figuring it out nicely. I wanted to try this last year but too many things going on. It's something on my to-do list though. I just hope mine will turn out half as good as yours. Love the pen.

David, yep, it's a tough job...but someone has to do it :-) Next attempt is tobacco and cigar bands.
