Nope, this is a small gator. They are fascinating creatures - so prehistoric looking. But don't be fooled - very fast in short bursts.

1st picture , gator about 8 to 10 feet
3rd picture , gators about 5 to 7 feet long, do not know why the gator circle, but there was a sign about Chester, he is big, maybe 12 to 13 feet , and he is territorial

do not know why the gator circle,
I'm guessing they are protecting babies. When our guide picked up the babies in my pic, the mother circled the boat. Thankfully, he stayed between her and us (in the boat). If your photo was just taken, the babies are probably about the size of the one in my pic and the moms are very protective.

The gator in the first photo is smiling because he knows he's about to have egret for lunch.

all the gators are pined in, all the birds are free to come and go, there is a back section with boardwalk that goes thru a marsh area, the birds nest with the gators below, no raccoons or such can get to the birds nest, the nest will only be a couple feet away in some spots, spring is a good time to see them nest and hatch
they also have senior citizen rates thru the end of march
