DW733 Knives on DW734 Planer

Can anyone tell me if the DW733 knives will work in a DW734 planer. I have a friend who's 733 was stolen. He would like to get a 734 but wants to know if his old knives will work on the new machine.

Hmmm...

The 733 has 2 blades and the 744 has 3. The 733 has one edge and, IIRC, the 734s are reversible. The 733 has offset holes opposite the edge and I would think that the mounting holes on a reversable blade would be centered. I kinda doubt they are interchangeable.
