Lidded Ash Box

[Les Elm]

Measures 2-1/4" High X 3-1/4" Diameter.
Turned using my 1/2" Spindle Gouge, Round Nosed Scraper
and 1/8" Parting Tool.
Sanded to 400x, buffed with Ultrafine Steel Wool and applied
6 coats of Minwax Clear Satin Poly.
Placed Red Felt in the bottom.

Real clean little box, Les! That ash makes a nice turning IMO.

Really a beautiful box Les. I do like the form and the finish looks so soft. I do like the felt touch.
