Have a customer who wants shapes cut out of velcro strips. Shapes are less than 1" x 1" so I could probably do roughly 288 on a full table (12x24). Quantities would be 250-500 per run with customer supplying the file with shapes layout already set up for me. They supply the velcro as well. Basically just my cutting time. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Get a sample of the velcro they'll be using. Cut 10 shapes in one run... multiply, as necessary, to get a feel for the run time. That will help you decide how to price.

Along with a sample of the material, I would also ask for a sample of the file their going to supply. RARE is the customer that knows how to set up a vector cutting file that would actually work!...;)

They don't have their MSDS on the website, they say to contact sales for that information.
I think the PVC test sounds like a good thing (tm)

Velcro is ***normally*** made from nylon, but it is certainly worth checking out.
