Joe, I think alcohol is the base. You might try adding a little to the jar and over a number of stirs see if that works.

The Shellawax uses a mix of ethanol (70%) and turpentine (5%);

PSI told me to thin cream with some of the liquid. I bought a sample from PSI. The cream is rather expensive and I would not like to compromise it. Harry

Q/ My Shellawax Cream has gone hard in the jar. How can I restore it?A/ Stirring it vigorously will bring it back to a creamy consistency. If it is still not thin enough add a little Shellawax (liquid). If you don’t have Shellawax add a LITTLE BIT of Methylated Spirits do not drown the mix and use this only as a LAST RESORT.
