How wide can I expect to find rock Maple

Looking to make a slab top for my entertainment center. Anyone know where I can look for something say 18 inch wide or more. I have one board about 15 but only 4/4 and not wide enough. Im looking for 8/4. I looked on Hearne Hardwoods site and Talarico already. Western Maple isnt the color/ look im going for.
So how wide might I ususpect to find. Like I said I have never seen wider than 15.

Thanks but Goby is Western Hardwoods. So western maple not hard rock white maple from east coast.

Have you tried calling Hearne or Talarico? Maybe they can find one too. Also try calling http://www.fleetwoodlumber.com/ I've been here before and the guy told me he can order/find just about anything you need.
