Another story to add to the recent spate of positive experienses:
I hadn't received an issue of Woodworking at Home in a while and, having recently renewed my subscription, was concerned that somehow my renewal had fallen through the cracks.
I called the contact number on their Website this morning expecting a recording and the usual runaround. To my suprise, Chris DeHut himself answered the phone on the first ring!! I explained the situation and he assured me that the issues I was "missing" were in fact being readied to ship. He then went the extra step to confirm my renewal. All the while, he was just as nice as could be.
This experience just confirms my belief that woodworkers are the nicest folks and that Chris's "magazine" deserves my enthusiastic support.
