Took more time thinking than doing:

No drilling required! I had to buy two M6-1.00 x 25 bolts but didn't need any of the extra hardware in the box.

1) I still need to route the wire but I'm going to look for some of those washers that have the hold down tab for wires and utilize the top dust port bolts (sources anyone?).
2) I may also make a shorter cable (it's a CAT5).
3) I may get some rare earth magnets to mount the display so I can easily move it to the back during calibration.
4) I'm thinking/hoping this location will allow calibration without cutting a piece out of the calibration piece of wood.

Responding to an old thread, but again a thanks to Mike for posting. Helped me get mine mounted really fast to my G0453.

Couple of things:

1) M6-1.00 x 30 bolts will also work. I had these and not 25mm ones, so I gave it a try. No clearance issue.

2) What did you mean by "I'm thinking/hoping this location will allow calibration without cutting a piece out of the calibration piece of wood."
