Been under the weather wit the flue ,but, I felt better today and was bored, so I went into my garage shop and tuned up the blade Greg had sent me on my work sharp 3000 and put the plane together and made a few shavings

Nice to see you putting your "new" plane to good use. Just curious if you tried the blade before sharpening it. I had sharpened it with a 30 degree secondary bevel and slight camber and tried it in a #5 before sending it with pretty good results. If your sharpening improved performance I guess I'll have to try harder!

I tried it before and it was just ok, sharpened to 25 degrees without any camber and alot better. Never thought about it, will put on a 30 degree secondary bevel and check it out.
