Hello Creekers
I tried a search but didn't find an answer to my problem.
I don't use the rotary very often but it has always worked when I needed it, until recently.
I plugged it in and turned on the laser but the laser would not register the rotary was hooked up.
I unplugged and replugged several times, checked the connections, wires, pins in the plugs but can't find anything obvious.
I reloaded the driver when all else failed and that didn't fix it.
I talked to Koy from epilog support and did what he suggested to check but no luck.
Has anyone else had this issue,
Thanks for any assistance.

Have you traced the cables from the back of the bed (where the connector is) to the motherboard? Double check the seating of the pins in the molex connector(s) too - they may be pushed back a bit allowing a connection to not be made. Good luck.

I doubt this is your case, but we had a rotary issue a year or so ago and we ended up having to replace the wiring harness to fix it.

Hi Chris
Found the problem, it was a bad wire connection in the molex, grey wire. once it was pulled off the pin and re soldered it worked like new.

That is the 2nd or 3rd time I have heard of a broken wire in the connector...

Good Job,
