So, here is my second tree ID. This one may NEED to come down. It is leaning over a fenceline and with that nice little burly spot up by where a branch had been cut off at some point, well, I might turn something out of it. I also included a pic of these bright green sucker branches that are coming from it. So, anyone know what it is? And, have you worked with it before? Thanks.

Well, with this tree, you have a nice looking "Box Elder" there.I brought a trailor load of that home today. Nice "RED" streaks in it. Snatch it up if you can.

OOOOOOOOOh, that's purdy... Yeah, she may have to come down. Probably not until I get through some of this stack of Maple, but I'll keep a close eye on this one. Thanks.

It looks alot like our Manitoba Maple which if I am correct is what you in the south of me call Box Elder. THe red is nice but don't get to attached to it cause it usually fades and may even turn alittle to the brown side after time.

I also say box elder; the green stems are a good indicator IME. The red is also very variable--some trees will have none at all, others a huge amount.
