Delta 31-260x sander

Hello Does anyone own one of these sanders, 31-260, and what has their experience been with it? I have a chance to buy one of these and also several rolls of sandpaper for it for $300 from a friend of mine. I was interested as it cost a lot more than that new but I read some of the reviews on it on amazon etc. and they are not really all that favorable. A lot of trouble with snipe, underpowered etc. Just wondering if anyone has any personal experience with this thing. Thanks in advance. Jared

Hi Jared,

I have a 31-250 that I bought used from a Creeker. I find it worth having. Spend far less time with a random orbit sander.

The $300 price is outstanding. The 31-260 is the latest version of the tool and sells new for about $1K.
